The North Palm Beach County Men’s Shed is not a typical Shed. We have no shop or tools, and we don’t make sawdust. We don’t even have a building!

What we do have is a group of dedicated men who enjoy each other’s company, learn from each other and support each other. Started in 2018 with 3 men, we now have more than 70 members. We began meeting at the local Senior Center and invited members and outside professionals to speak on a wide range of topics. We learned about healthcare and finance, movie productions, had tapestry demonstrations, cooking lessons, we heard about circumnavigating the world in a 45′ sailboat, and much more.

When Covid closed the Senior Center, we switched to weekly Zoom calls. This format has allowed us to attract speakers and participants from all over the world. We continue to learn and enjoy interesting topics each week, presented by our members and outside speakers.
Not Just Zoom
While continuing our meetings via Zoom, we have added monthly in-person meetings at the local community center, as well as monthly breakfasts, lunches and happy hours. These in person meetings allow more shoulder-to-shoulder interactions and strengthen our fellowship.

“I’ve met new friends, learned new things, and I enjoy attending Shed meetings. Lots of great guys there!” Shed member JH
